The dress is free size and the bat sleeves give it a more chic look. if the look can complete with hair band and hand make leather bracelets I guess it will be more hippie and vintage.

Zimbabwean Shona sculptors believe that every image they create has a predestined owner.These sculpted forms are said to be released from the stone so that future owners may find them.

Shopping Book -- Marimekko

Marimekko a fashion and lifestyle shop with a cafe. It's located at the Box Park, Jumeirah, Dubai,a young and creative place.

The brand is decorated in a modern style. Their lively cafe attached with the fabric workshop, where you can select the different colorful fabric designed by their own designer in Finland. 

The brand gives me a impression as fashion meets interior.
Its not only what you wear, its more about you and your home, and all of these are your identity and they deliver your own message to the others.




In their fabric section,you can choose from their design book or their ready made garments to get inspiration for your own table clothe or any other household fabric decorations.

The concept of the brand is unexpectedness, permissiveness, and humanity. I found their designs are very practical and fun.





Their price is quite expensive. For table clothe is about 275/m. But their printed fabrics give you a feel of nature and streams and under water world.

Their tableware cups and plates are simple but with an atmosphere of ocean and joy.

Their spring collection of garments are all designed in a simple and comfortable way. The printing are more floral for kids collection, and more sea waves, surf and urban environment for women.


The designs are fresh and emotional,certainly a place can bring a lots of inspirations.


The brand has expanded to many other countries in North Europe and Asia,as Japan,Korea and China.

Box Park is fun place to enjoy an afternoon tea or an evening walk.

Look Book 2

Today I went with my friends to City Walk. There is one fashion shop named JNBY. Their design style is simple,calm but into antique and difference details.
Inspiration Figure as Isabella Blow, Georgia O'Keeffe.

My friend was looking for a top which can shape her body a bit and also giving her better look at the waist line. So we found this top. It's a mock two piece top,slightly short but matching perfectly with a fitting up legging. 

I love JNBY since 15 years ago. Its one of the well known brands from China in Fashion. I own some of their garments and even after years, the garments are still in a good condition and reminds always simple is the best.

Shopping Book --- Rogo's The Rollercoaster Restaurant

I think if we speak about idea then the Rogo's Rollercoaster restaurant should be one of it.
when you wait for your food to be served from the high top that's a totally new experience. I had a dream once about dining in the clouds, but this is more spectacular than that.

The restaurant located in Yas Mall on Yas Island

They have very unique way to order your food. You can choose your food without a waiter but simply browse the menu.




It is a totally different atmosphere for dinning when you see your food roller down from the rollercoaster.












Even they have 360 seats,but mostly likely you will need to wait for your tables. however this is normal for me.(waiting for a table in a popular restaurant is normal in China)

Their service is average, I guess the staffs are a bit busy.











The food is a bit pricey compare with the size. but we did played and had fun, so that's what is for. The chicken wings and ice tea are lovely.

An interesting concept and an adventure place to be.

shopping book -- Alserkal Avenue A4SPACE

Alserkal Avenue is a the only place in Dubai where you can feel the art atmosphere and enjoy the galleries. 

It located in Al quoz 1 among the warehouses

A4SPACE is place where you can grab a cup of coffee, or you can climb up to the loft and enjoy a art book, or you can sink yourself in the cinema room and watch a short episode.

whatever you do, you will feel relax and forget you are in the Arabian desert.

In the night time specially when there are some events going on, you will be regret if you are not in your high heel or evening jacket. people come here not only to visit the galleries, it's a more social place to meet cool people.

their cinema and project space are available for rent as well. the bright project space is ideal for galleries, fashion launches or photo shoots. the cinema has the most comfortable bean bags to sit, and I really hope our school red room can change to that casual and comfortable style.

Wes Anderson fan

I became a fan of Wes Anderson after I watched the Grand Budapest.Though I found out all the graphic design for his movie was done by Annie Atkins.

The colors and details in the film took me back to the old times. even when I look at the color palette of each scene, it belongs the past, the 30's European style.

Although I did a lot of oil painting and pastel painting before, but marker is nothing like them. However I like markers, they give the picture a very neat and bright. you don't get many chances to correct it if you make a mistake. so you need to be confident and don't hesitate.

  

Spicy Thai Food --- Smiling BKK

I miss Thai food. To me Thai food is more or less close to my taste: sour and spicy.  

The smiling BKK restaurant is located in Al Safa,not too far from the post office.

It is a little and quirk restaurant having a Monalisa with mustache on their menu

black theme decoration, dim lit.with lots of funny pictures.there is kind of easy-going atmosphere in this tiny restaurant. It reminds me about Bangkok. I used to visit Bangkok every year just to being lazy there. the beach, the bars,and never think about work or study.

the most thing I like for this place is their menu. you never know what is"I'm a believer" or "the million dollar man" 

 food turned out better than expected. taste authentic Thai,though the prices are a bit high considering the place.however it is fun to have a night here with hot and spicy Tom Yun soup.

Shopping book ---- The Shoe Deal

I guess most girls will be hard to resist the beauty of shoes.
If you want to get a pair of high end shoes with a affordable price, then I think "the shoe deal" in outlets mall is a smart choice. they normally have shoes with more than 50% discount, sometimes you can get almost 80% off if you are luck to fit your feet in.

In the shoe deal,models are sorted by sizes and then models. they have women,men and kids. Most importantly, they have many European and US top brands and creative designers collections,such as Nicholas Kirkwood,Oscar de la Renta,United Nude,N.21.....etc. brands you can find in Level store in Dubai Mall or Burjman centre. 

 I have been working in shoes industrial for a few years, so I always stop in shoes shops and amused by their elegance. irresistible. sometimes I bought a pair of shoes because I feel in love of them at the first sight, but never be able to wear them. (silly woman)

 I always get inspired from shoes by their color, they trends and they styles.A good pair of shoes can be seen by the others but in fact only the person who wears them knows if they are killing her feet or not.
Sometimes we do love the glamorous looking, but we all know better what is really suitable for us.

Men shoes are also have a big range. comparing to women's,they are cheaper and mostly less than 1000Dhs while women's are most above 1000Dhs.

the shortage in this shop is many pieces are the last pairs. and most last pair has stretches at the bottom. also they don't have the original shoes box for most High heels. If you don't mind these two points and enjoying searching a designer's collection, then it's a fun to have some try here.
