Shopping Book (3) -- Holister

Something about Holister I like is that it doesn't look like a surf products or Jeans store.It's more about the lifestyle.

I think Holister is in MOE and Dubai Mall. both mall are decorated with the same theme. Huge wall screen inside of displaying windows outside. The scene is always the pacific ocean. No one will think it is a store sells T-shirt, Jeans,beach wear at the first sight. at least not me.
 

 once you are curious enough to get in( let's assume you don't know the brand first) you will see two comfortable leather sofa with a retro look chandelier, feel like you have entered someone's house.
then you turn in a faint light room with shirts, jeans,T-shirt,then you are sure it's store sells jeans and outerwear etc.
But you will be mused by the dark wooden wardrobe, large frame of windows, especially a very exotic oceanic view out there. (of course it's not for real) they have plants too, I forgot the check if it is real or plastic tree.

I like shop in dark rooms. Maybe it's not so easy to tell the colors and details because of the dim light.but I like the feel of privacy. you are a guest here not a buyer. no one here standing and staring at what you are looking at, or following you as a ghost wherever you go. I sat I felt like I'm so relax. so I want to stay a bit longer.

Their jeans about Dhs300 more or less,simple logo t-shirt even less than Dhs100. styles are suitable for young boys and girls.

It reminds me with one of my favorite restaurant in GZ,China. the same dim light, the same black theme decoration. Sometimes I feel safer and relax in a dark. as long as not completely dark.

I think CH and Tory Burch are both using very similar decor style,oak wood, avoiding bright light, divided spaces. they all US brands. 

It's fun to shop in a different environment,we all getting tired of the whole brightness. I wish the window is really facing the Pacific, or I can really hear the sound of the seashore not just the sound track.
